Assistant General Manager

The Assistant General Manager role is onsite in Jacksonville, FL. Compensation is $20.50 per hour. The role supports CAVA restaurant operations and its mission to make it simple for guests to eat well and feel good. The assistant general manager partners with the General Manager and Area Leader to run daily operations, develop team members, and support store action plans and financial results. The role helps maintain food, service, and cleanliness standards while managing staffing, inventory, costs, and guest concerns.

What you'll do

• Assist with daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing
• uphold food quality, service, and cleanliness standards
• oversee inventory, supply ordering, and cost control
• train, coach, and provide feedback to team members
• support scheduling and staffing
• address team issues
• respond to guest concerns
• track sales, handle cash, support budgets, prepare reports, and assist with food safety and operational records.
