Cart and Equipment Maintenance Technician / Truck Leader

The Cart and Equipment Maintenance Technician / Truck Leader role is field-based and onsite in South Florida, with the service truck based in Doral, FL. Starting pay is $850 per week for completing the scheduled weekly service locations. Jimco Maintenance provides maintenance and repair services across the Southeast. The technician performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs on supermarket rolling equipment while managing a dedicated service truck and assigned territory. The work helps keep customer equipment serviceable through scheduled service and additional reactive work orders as needed.

What you'll do

• Pressure-clean and repair shopping carts, floats, bakery racks, and other rolling grocery equipment
• perform minor MIG welding and caster or wheel changes
• troubleshoot and complete field repairs
• plan routes and record work time
• maintain the service vehicle
• coordinate with the corporate office
• follow safety and DOT requirements
• travel within the assigned service territory.
