What you'll do

• Locate and mark underground utilities, including fiber lines
• interpret utility maps, prints, and locate tickets
• use electromagnetic and ground-penetrating locating tools
• communicate with drill operators and crew members
• follow industry marking standards and color codes
• document completed locates
• follow jobsite safety procedures.
