The Senior Electromechanical Engineering Technician role is onsite in Bedford, MA. Compensation is $38–$47 per hour. The technician supports hands-on prototype work in a research and development environment for the client’s engineering team. The role builds and modifies one-off prototypes as designs evolve, helping engineers test and refine electromechanical systems before manufacturing handoff. It applies practical assembly, wiring, soldering, and troubleshooting skills to turn engineering drawings and instructions into working prototypes.

What you'll do

• Build one-off engineering prototypes from drawings and instructions
• create and modify wire and cable harnesses
• assemble electromechanical subassemblies and systems
• solder, wire, drill, fasten, rework, and troubleshoot
• work with engineers as designs change
• build and modify test fixtures and equipment
• support prototype handoff to manufacturing.
