What you'll do

• Decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize instruments for multiple surgical specialties
• prepare instruments and supplies for surgery
• track instruments and maintain sterilization records
• check expiration dates and rotate sterile supplies
• maintain and restock CPR cart exchanges
• assemble and disassemble equipment according to manufacturer instructions
• clean and function-test equipment
• assist with orientation and training of students and personnel
• carry paging or other electronic communication devices used by operating-room personnel.

Why this role

Shifts may include rotating 8-, 10-, or 12-hour and part-time schedules, nights, weekends, and federal holidays.
