Compensation is not specified. The Wildland Fire Module Crewmember – Seasonal role is onsite in Pine Grove, CO, with wildland fire assignments around the United States for up to 21 days plus travel. The Wildland Fire Division’s mission is to promote wildfire safety and prevention and help keep the mountain community safe. The crewmember carries out module operations and participates in wildfire suppression and fireline work under the direction of the module leadership. The role supports safe, effective operations through training, readiness, adherence to procedures, and teamwork.

What you'll do

• Implement day-to-day operations as directed by the Module Lead
• participate in daily briefings, wildfire suppression, and fireline operations
• maintain safe operations and compliance with division SOPs
• carry out assigned module management programs and collateral duties
• participate in classroom and on-the-job training and arduous physical training
• maintain readiness and follow the chain of command.
