Youth Multi-Sport Coach, Fall 2026

Job overview

The Youth Multi-Sport Coach position is onsite at partner elementary schools in San Leandro, Hayward, San Lorenzo and the greater East Bay, CA, with pay of $25–$35 per hour. The part-time role supports ANTS after-school sports programs for K–5 students during the September–December 2026 fall season. The coach leads or assists weekly practices for children ages 5–10, teaching sports fundamentals through structured, game-filled lessons. The role promotes sportsmanship, wellness and positivity while providing a safe and engaging program for students.

What you'll do

• Lead a fun and safe weekly sports practice for children ages 5–10
• teach sports fundamentals using lesson plans
• arrive on time throughout the season
• attend in-person orientation training
• interact positively with parents, teachers and school staff
• set up and clean up
• transport coaching equipment to and from class.

Why this role

No previous coaching experience is required; training, equipment and support are provided. The fall season runs September through December 2026, with a commitment of 5–15 hours per week and afternoon classes generally between 2 and 6 p.m. Player or coaching experience is valuable but optional.
