Level II Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician

The Level II Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician role is onsite in Springfield, MO; compensation is not specified. The role performs and documents NDT inspections, evaluates results against authorized limits, and maintains inspection equipment and radiation safety controls. It also coordinates inspection workload and provides technical assistance and training to other technicians.

What you'll do

• Perform NDT and determine product acceptability within authorized limits and procedures
• record and evaluate test results
• follow radiation safety rules
• maintain and calibrate equipment and control inventory
• coordinate inspection workload
• provide technical assistance to subordinate-level technicians
• perform process controls and exposure-room safety checks
• conduct automated ultrasonic C-scan inspections of composite parts
• provide training to other technicians.
