The Medical Assistant / Patient Services Specialist position is onsite and floats between the San Mateo and Menlo Park, CA offices. The schedule is a rotating Monday–Friday schedule, 6:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m., with weekend and holiday rotations. It pays $25–$27 per hour. The role supports Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area and its fertility patients. The role provides clinical and patient-service support across fertility care, including phlebotomy, specimen handling, documentation, vital signs, and assistance with procedures. It also helps patients and families understand care instructions and provides compassionate support throughout their experience.

What you'll do

• Perform phlebotomy and maintain blood-drawing station supplies
• send specimens to appropriate labs
• document care in logs and patient records
• enter lab information and print labels
• assist physicians or ultrasound technicians with procedures and HSGs as needed
• take vital signs and provide clinical assistance
• support fertility patient care
• provide procedure teaching and pre- and post-operative education
• communicate physician orders and instructions
• provide emotional support and promote customer service.
