Construction Superintendent

Compensation is not specified. The Construction Superintendent role is onsite in Newburgh, IN, with projects across the Louisville and Southern Indiana region. Forge Construction is the in-house general contractor for Denton Floyd Real Estate Group, building multifamily, senior living, and industrial projects. The superintendent leads field execution from mobilization through occupancy and turnover, or manages a defined phase on larger sites. The role coordinates trade partners, schedule, safety, quality, inspections, documentation, and closeout so projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and ready for operation.

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day field schedules and three-week look-aheads
• plan site logistics and sequencing
• lead subcontractor meetings and daily huddles
• coordinate trade partners and enforce scope, staffing, and workmanship standards
• lead site safety and OSHA compliance
• execute quality-control processes and coordinate inspections
• review drawings and specifications and coordinate RFIs
• maintain reports and records in Procore
• communicate progress and risks
• manage punch lists, turnover, certificates of occupancy, commissioning, and closeout
• mentor assistant superintendents and field staff.
