Home Care Caregiver

Job overview

The Home Care Caregiver role is in person in Bloomingdale, IL. Pay is $19–$20 per hour. Always Best Care Chicagoland provides non-medical home care to help seniors remain safe and independent in their homes. The caregiver follows each client’s care plan and assists with daily activities, mobility, personal care, meals, and household tasks. The role also supports client safety and communicates unusual incidents to the Care Coordinator.

What you'll do

• Provide medication reminders
• assist with ambulation and mobility
• help with personal care and hygiene
• support prescribed exercises
• shop for or accompany clients shopping as needed
• prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
• report unusual incidents to the Care Coordinator
• respond responsibly to emergencies
• follow the care plan.
