What you'll do

• Conduct legal research and prepare written or oral legal opinions
• draft correspondence, contracts, resolutions, orders, rules, and ordinances
• represent or assist the county in court proceedings and administrative hearings
• prepare pleadings and trial materials
• review and prosecute municipal violations
• address land-use and condemnation matters
• negotiate plea agreements and assist with civil settlements
• represent local hospitals in mental health detention hearings
• maintain CLE compliance.
