The Packaging Mechanic prepares tanks and enclosures and installs mechanical, piping, fuel, exhaust, and support systems for generator assemblies. The work contributes to safe, accurate builds that meet customer specifications and engineering requirements while supporting production goals and quality standards.

What you'll do

• Prepare tanks and enclosures for generator assembly
• perform setup, layout, and mechanical installation
• install generators, fuel and exhaust systems, vents, filters, and related components. Measure, fabricate, and install piping
• perform pipe fitting, threading, and rigging
• support material handling as authorized. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
• inspect completed work, complete quality documentation, follow safety and PPE requirements, and participate in continuous improvement.
