Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide role is onsite in Scotland Neck, NC. Compensation is $10–$16 per hour. The aide supports Scotland House’s culinary team in providing nutritious meals to residents. The role assists with meal preparation and service, food safety, kitchen sanitation, and resident dining support. It contributes to residents’ dining experience by helping meet dietary plans, special requests, and individual preferences.

What you'll do

• Help prepare, portion, and serve meals according to dietary plans and special requests
• maintain kitchen and dining-area cleanliness
• wash dishes and equipment
• assist residents with meal setup and service
• follow food storage, handling, and sanitation protocols
• receive and store supplies
• check inventory and report shortages
• collaborate with the dietary team.
