Project Manager, DCPS Capital Construction

The Project Manager role is onsite in Washington, DC, supporting the District of Columbia Department of General Services and DC Public Schools Capital Construction Program. What you'll do

• Manage multiple projects through planning, design, procurement, construction, closeout and occupancy
• lead scope development, procurement support and design management
• review drawings, specifications, schedules, budgets, GMP proposals, change orders and contractor proposals
• conduct site visits and field observations
• coordinate owners, school stakeholders, design teams, contractors and agencies
• monitor budgets, risks and financial performance
• review payment applications, claims, RFIs and project documentation
• support reporting, commissioning, turnover, warranty and occupancy
• mentor junior staff as appropriate.
