What you'll do

• Provides comprehensive Medical Nutrition Therapy to inpatients with a variety of medical conditions.
• Performs malnutrition assessments, nutrition-focused physical exams, diet education, and provides nutrition support recommendations.
• Consults with physicians and allied health professionals.
• Formulates nutrition assessment and follow-up plans.
• Participates in clinical rounds and department meetings.
• Must be flexible to cross-cover and train in all areas including Neonatal ICU and Pediatrics as needed.
• Reviews literature and presents to peers.
• Performs professional presentations.
• Maintains current credentials and completes yearly competencies.

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor's degree B.S with a major in Food & Nutrition Science from an accredited college or university and the completion of an accredited dietetic internship (RDE will be considered) required and Master's degree Master's degree from an accredited college or university if completed after Jan 1 2024. required.

Experience

1-2 years of general clinical nutrition experience preferred (RDE will be considered).
