What you'll do
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, verify information, and record medical histories
- provide direct nursing care, lab services, medications, and treatments according to accepted standards
- conduct follow-up visits and physical examinations within the Texas Nursing Practice Act
- counsel patients on health assessment, prevention, hygiene, and health maintenance
- train and mentor clinic support staff
- prepare charts and maintain accurate notes and medication lists
- collaborate with the Patient Support Center RN team
- follow clinical protocols and Texas DSHS reporting requirements
- and participate in quality improvement activities.

Why this role
