Raycraft Production Operator

Job overview

The Raycraft Production Operator works onsite in Ithaca, MI, Monday–Friday from 6 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Pay is $15 per hour. The role supports the Raycraft department at Capital Steel and Wire. The operator performs draw-bench and saw operations, handles and stages material, and completes production and quality checks. Accurate equipment operation and job documentation help maintain production flow and product quality.

What you'll do

• Load and unload material into work centers
• use Plex to set up and complete jobs, select containers, and maintain required statistical process controls
• operate the shear station, wheelabrator, payoff system, and equipment in Shumage and Saw departments
• set up CNC controls
• stage material
• perform quality checks
• operate loadout systems for banding and bundling
• operate a forklift and overhead crane
• monitor orders and paperwork
• assist with production-floor cleaning and upkeep.
