The Production Associate, Cake Decorator role is an onsite, full-time first-shift position in Rocky Mount, VA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pay is $16.25 per hour. The role supports bakery production at Empire Bakery Commissary. The associate decorates ready-to-sell cakes to company quality and presentation standards and may also help assemble, prepare, sort, slice, and package bakery products. The work includes operating bakery equipment, inspecting and labeling products, and following food-safety, quality, and workplace policies.

What you'll do

• Decorate cakes by icing, smoothing, piping, and adding decorative details
• assemble, prepare, sort, slice, and package bakery products as needed
• operate mixing, slicing, and packaging machines
• palletize products
• inspect and label items
• follow food-safety, good manufacturing practice, safety, and behavioral policies
• report quality or safety concerns.
