Material Area Supervisor

What you'll do

• Lead hourly material-handling teams in shipping, receiving, inventory management, material delivery, and forklift operations
• drive safety compliance
• manage team performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale
• coordinate daily activities
• apply World Class Manufacturing tools to improve flow and reduce waste
• coach and develop team members
• monitor inventory accuracy
• investigate downtime and implement corrective actions
• maintain working relationships with management and UAW-represented employees.
