The Experienced Used Car Technician role is an onsite position located in Baton Rouge, LA, with compensation not specified. This role supports the service department at Price LeBlanc Lexus. The role exists to examine, diagnose, and repair vehicles. The technician contributes to the dealership's service goals by communicating repair needs, providing labor estimates, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.

What you'll do

• Examines vehicle, diagnoses and, if needed discusses with the Shop Foreman, Manager, or Service Advisor as to the nature and extent of damage or malfunction.
• Communicates additional service requests and properly documents all findings and repairs to the Service Advisor.
• Provides labor time estimates and monitors repair times and gives updates to the Service Advisor.
• Maintains strict adherence to dealership policies, and understands and follows federal, state, and local regulations regarding disposal of hazardous waste, etc.
• Understands and utilizes dealership computer system(s).
• Assists technician trainees as needed.
• Keeps current with factory technical bulletins.
• Attend department meetings, as necessary.
• Exude strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Attend company/manufacturer training when necessary.
