The technician performs preventative maintenance, documents repairs, and provides road call services as needed to keep the distribution fleet operational.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and reefer units.
• Perform preventative maintenance and standard component inspections.
• Identify root causes of failures and perform necessary repairs.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, and wheel bearings.
• Ensure equipment is roadworthy with required licensing.
• Document work orders in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Install and repair onboard computers.
• Use hand and power tools for routine maintenance and repairs.
• Train other employees.
