The Spiritual Care Counselor / Chaplain, Hospice PRN role is onsite in Lynnwood, WA, covering Snohomish County; it is not remote or virtual. Pay is $25–$40 per hour, and PRN hours can vary. AccentCare’s hospice team provides patient- and family-centered care and support. The counselor assesses spiritual needs, supports patients and families through anticipatory grief and bereavement, and connects them with their faith communities and spiritual caregivers. The role helps patients and families draw on their identified sources of strength and support during terminal illness and bereavement.

What you'll do

• Support families and communities through anticipatory grief and post-death bereavement
• complete spiritual-needs assessments for hospice patients and their families of choice
• serve as liaison to the patient’s and family’s faith community
• respond to patient and family needs
• support clergy and other spiritual caregivers.
