The Security Officer, Part-Time Armed Perimeter Driver role is onsite in Houston, TX. Compensation is $22 per hour. The position provides armed security at an assigned site for Allied Universal, with a fixed weekly anchor shift and the option to claim additional shifts. The officer conducts armed patrols, responds to incidents, and provides customer service while helping protect the site and its people. Accurate reporting and professional coordination with site personnel support security procedures and emergency response.

What you'll do

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, vendors, and visitors
• follow site security procedures and emergency response activities
• respond to incidents and critical situations
• conduct regular and random armed patrols of the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas
• monitor access points and report unusual activity
• document incidents and patrols
• communicate information to site management, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as directed.

Why this role

Part-time fixed-shift assignment requires a six-month commitment; additional shifts may be claimed through the scheduling platform. Requires at least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or five years of armed security experience, a valid driver’s license, Texas Level III Armed Certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
