What you'll do

• Lead and develop estimating staff
• manage bid assignments and priorities
• prepare conceptual budgets and hard-bid estimates
• review plans, specifications, and contracts
• perform electrical quantity takeoffs
• develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
• analyze risks, scope gaps, and value-engineering opportunities
• establish estimating standards
• quality-check estimates
• negotiate vendor pricing
• attend pre-bid meetings and site walks
• coordinate project turnover.
