Material Supply Planner

Job overview

What you'll do

• Review material requirements and use MRP or manual buy plans
• place purchase orders and follow up with vendors on delivery
• expedite or delay deliveries as needed for customer demand or production changes
• coordinate inbound logistics and receiving schedules
• monitor vendor performance and report on open, past-due, and on-time deliveries
• maintain ERP item and material data
• manage inventory levels and slow-moving, obsolete, or expired materials
• coordinate with quality and vendors on rejected or damaged goods
• address invoicing issues.
