Pallet Disassembly Operator — 1st Shift

The Pallet Disassembly Operator role is onsite in Temple, TX, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Pay is $22.15 per hour. CHEP’s share-and-reuse model helps customers transport goods efficiently and with less environmental impact. The operator removes defective pallet components, replaces out-of-specification connector boards, and inspects repairs against quality guidelines. The role contributes to safe, consistent pallet repair through careful tool use, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures.

What you'll do

• Remove defective components from pallet top or bottom decks according to repair guidelines
• replace connector boards that are out of specification
• visually inspect pallet construction
• follow quality and safety standards
• wear required PPE
• maintain a clean work area
• report hazards
• collaborate with assembly-line operators to resolve process issues.
