What you'll do

• Operate MRI scanners and produce diagnostic images
• select imaging techniques based on orders and patient condition
• screen patients and assess contrast contraindications
• monitor patients during procedures
• maintain MRI safety zones
• use PACS and imaging software
• document patient care
• perform quality-control checks and maintain equipment
• position and explain procedures to patients
• mentor staff or students as needed.
