Mammography Technologist

The Mammography Technologist role is onsite in Saint Marys, GA, with weekday openings from 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 7:30 AM–4:00 PM. Pay is $32.22–$48.37 per hour, based on experience. The technologist joins a hospital-based imaging team performing screening and diagnostic mammography, with support for DEXA examinations. The role produces diagnostic-quality mammography and bone-density images while maintaining patient comfort, safety, privacy, and accurate documentation. The technologist coordinates with providers and the healthcare team and completes required quality assurance and quality control procedures.

What you'll do

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography and assigned DEXA examinations
• review orders and patient histories
• position patients and obtain diagnostic-quality images
• explain procedures and maintain patient comfort, dignity, and privacy
• document histories and safety information
• perform mammography quality assurance and quality control
• follow radiation-safety and privacy standards
• maintain imaging records and coordinate patient flow.
