Loan Closing Specialist

The Loan Closing Specialist role is onsite in Greenfield, MA. Pay is $22–$28 per hour. The position reports to the Residential Lending Closing Manager at Greenfield Savings Bank. The specialist ensures residential loan files and closing documents are accurate, complete, and compliant, coordinating the closing and funding process with borrowers, attorneys, and internal lending teams. This work supports timely, compliant loan closings and delivery of complete files to Loan Operations.

What you'll do

• Review residential loan information and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• prepare and deliver Closing Disclosures
• quality-check loan files before closing
• arrange closings and prepare closing packages and disbursements
• coordinate timely receipt of loans sold to the secondary market
• complete final transmittals
• collect post-closing documentation
• prepare reports and rate sheets
• follow up on deadlines and missing documents
• clear files for closing and funding, including wires
• support departmental phone and email duties.
