QA/QC Professional - Welding

The QA/QC Professional - Welding role is an onsite position based in Pflugerville, TX. It contributes to the team by monitoring quality standards for installation, performing inspections, and documenting results.

What you'll do

• Monitors quality standards for installation of materials and products for Mechanical HVAC systems to ensure they are integrated in projects and the fabrication processes.
• Reviews shop fabrications for drawing conformance, verifies installation of products and materials and confirms that procedures are being followed and are code compliant.
• Performs job walks and inspections at construction sites and/or fabrication facilities to ensure compliance with government regulations, OSHA and company safety requirements and contractual specifications.
• Consults with crews for proper testing procedures, verifies testing and inspection reports.
• Documents and communicates inspection results.
• Identifies and recommends solutions for non-compliant situations.
• Follows through to ensure compliance and conformance.
