Production Team Lead — 1st Shift

Job overview

The Production Team Lead role is onsite at facilities in Pontiac and Auburn Hills, MI; compensation is $19–$25 per hour. Peninsula Plastics manufactures reusable plastic packaging solutions using thermoforming. The hands-on lead guides machine operators and coordinates daily production to meet safety, quality, and schedule expectations. The role also supports equipment setup and troubleshooting and works with production supervisors to reduce downtime and meet production goals.

What you'll do

• Lead and support approximately two to four machine operators
• train staff on equipment, safety, and quality
• monitor production schedules
• assist with thermoforming equipment setup and troubleshooting
• operate equipment
• maintain production records
• support safe, organized work areas and workflow improvements.

Why this role
