Job overview

The Classroom Aide and Driver role is onsite in Danvers, MA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (40 hours per week). The listed pay is $22.08 per hour. Bridgewell provides day programs and other social and human services to support people with disabilities and other life challenges. The role combines safe transportation to and from day service programs with individualized training and support. The aide works on service-plan objectives, tracks and documents individual goals and relevant medical or behavioral information, and helps maintain safe, organized program operations.

What you'll do

• Transport individuals to and from day service programs
• develop, implement, and supervise training activities based on individual needs
• collect goal data and document medical data or target behaviors
• assist with program arrivals, breaks, lunches, and departures
• maintain the program and report maintenance issues
• protect individual rights and confidentiality
• complete assigned administrative duties and meetings
• maintain required certifications
• assist passengers with vehicle entry, exit, and seatbelts
• operate vehicles lawfully and maintain route and emergency information
• complete vehicle safety checks and report route delays exceeding 15 minutes.
