The Assurance Director role is hybrid in Chicago, IL. Pay is $170,000–$280,000 per year. The role leads and expands a Manufacturing & Distribution assurance practice in the Chicago market. The leader advises clients, directs complex audit and assurance engagements, develops business, and mentors assurance professionals. The role supports practice growth and high-quality client service across middle-market and enterprise manufacturing and distribution clients.

What you'll do

• Lead assurance engagements for manufacturing and distribution clients
• direct audits, reviews, compilations, and financial reporting work
• advise executives and audit committees on accounting standards, controls, and reporting risks
• generate new business and expand services for existing clients
• represent the firm through speaking, webinars, and publications
• mentor and develop assurance staff
• oversee engagement budgets, billing, collections, and utilization.

Why this role
