The nurse plans, coordinates, and provides care in the ICU, Step Down, Med Surg, Day Stay, PACU, and ER while maintaining competencies for those units. The role also includes clinical interventions, patient and family education, documentation, evaluation of care, and delegation to ancillary personnel within their scope of practice.

What you'll do

• Plan, coordinate, and provide nursing care across ICU, Step Down, Med Surg, Day Stay, PACU, and ER
• maintain unit competencies
• provide nursing interventions in stable and emergent situations
• administer medications and intravenous therapy, including blood products
• interpret ECG rhythms
• manage care during life-threatening emergencies
• collaborate on care plans
• educate patients and families
• delegate tasks
• evaluate care
• and document nursing care.

Why this role
