Job overview

What you'll do
- Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans
- provide treatment to improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
- obtain physician approvals
- document evaluations, treatment notes, progress, and discharge summaries
- communicate with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
- instruct families and nursing staff in follow-through programs
- and contribute to team conferences and professional development. The role may supervise clinical fellows and other speech-language pathologists.
