What you'll do

• Submit electronic and paper claims
• review and resolve denials, escalating issues when needed
• post payments
• use payer websites to review claims, appeal denials, and confirm payment status
• manage patient balances and payment arrangements
• update insurance information and verify coverage
• answer billing calls
• provide backup within the billing team.
