Survey Field Technician

Job overview

The Survey Field Technician is based onsite at the Lisle, IL office and travels daily to field sites. Compensation is $23–$30 per hour. The role supports CAGE’s civil engineering, surveying, and construction management services for land development projects. The technician conducts field surveys and collects accurate data used to prepare survey maps and reports. The work supports project teams by providing topographic, boundary, and construction-staking information while following company standards and safety procedures.

What you'll do

• Conduct field surveys using GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment
• collect and record survey data
• perform topographic, boundary, and construction-staking surveys
• maintain and troubleshoot equipment
• collaborate with the party crew chief, contractors, and clients
• follow company standards, regulations, and safety procedures.
