The Forklift / Diesel Mechanic - Overnights role is an onsite position based in Winthrop Harbor, IL. Compensation is $35 to $45 per hour, and this role supports the Wisconsin Distribution Center, ensuring all machinery runs at peak performance. This role exists to maintain and repair warehouse equipment, including forklifts and conveyor systems, to ensure operational efficiency. The mechanic will troubleshoot technical issues, manage work orders, and maintain detailed repair records to contribute to the facility's overall productivity.

What you'll do

• Maintain and repair warehouse equipment such as Crown stock pickers, Toyota forklifts, conveyor systems, Lantech wrappers and industrial robotics.
• Open new work orders and check work history using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Keep detailed parts inventory, maintenance and repair records.
• Work safely using proper protective equipment and lockout / tagout (LOTO).
