Quality Assurance Manager, Food Safety

The Quality Assurance Manager role is onsite in Dresser, WI. Compensation is not specified. The manager maintains quality systems and regulatory compliance, leads quality and sanitation personnel, and oversees product controls and investigations to protect product quality and food safety.

What you'll do

• Manage development, implementation, review, and maintenance of the SQF system
• maintain quality and food safety document control
• serve as site PCQI and manage HACCP and Preventive Control Programs
• maintain compliance with Organic, Kosher, Non-GMO, and Gluten Free requirements
• manage quality and sanitation personnel
• facilitate audits
• manage pest control
• maintain calibration schedules
• review production and sanitation records
• lead out-of-specification and customer complaint investigations
• manage product release and disposition
• maintain environmental monitoring and corrective actions.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in food science, biological science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience; three years of quality assurance or food safety experience; PCQI and HACCP certifications and SQF practitioner status.
