Research and Development Technician — First Shift

The Research and Development Technician — First Shift role is onsite in Devens, MA. Pay is $30–$45 per hour. Commonwealth Fusion Systems is working to deliver fusion energy and develop commercially viable fusion power plants. The technician assists with product development, prototype production, process monitoring, troubleshooting, and manufacturing support. The work helps R&D teams build and evaluate prototypes, maintain equipment, and improve processes in coordination with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments.

What you'll do

• Build products and magnet prototypes
• prepare prototypes for evaluation
• monitor processes and troubleshoot production equipment
• set up, operate, and maintain R&D equipment
• assist with new project installation and readiness
• support testing and manufacturing-process development
• maintain project records and suggest process improvements.
