The Controller partners with executive leadership and works with production, sales, and budget review teams to support Calisota’s financial operations. The role exists to oversee accounting, reporting, controls, liquidity, and financial risk management while providing timely financial information and strategic analysis to guide company decisions and growth.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily accounting operations and the general ledger
• prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, with initial monthly drafts within seven business days after month-end
• monitor budgets and rolling cash flow models and send updates to the CEO Tuesdays and Fridays by 5:00 PM CDT
• oversee tax filings and weekly cash and bank reconciliations
• co-lead weekly Monday meetings
• mentor and review junior staff
• forecast trends and recommend financial strategies.

Why this role

Requires 5+ years of finance experience, 3+ years producing financial statements, and 2+ years producing Three-Way Cash Flow statements. Manufacturing experience and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills are preferred.
