Private Duty Care Billing / Collections Specialist

The Private Duty Care Billing / Collections Specialist role is onsite in Phoenix Home Care and Hospice’s Springfield, MO office. Pay is $18–$20 per hour. The position reports to Revenue Cycle Management and supports the company’s home-care services through billing and payment administration.

What you'll do

• Submit claims and patient invoices according to payer regulations
• identify and update pre-billing errors
• follow up using aging reports, EOBs, and other correspondence
• identify payment errors against contracted rates
• process weekly payments
• contact clients and payers about billing
• respond to client and family billing questions
• and follow HIPAA requirements.
