The Direct Support Professional role is an onsite, full-time position in Monroe, MI. Pay is $17.13 per hour. The professional provides individualized support to help participants build interpersonal and life skills, take part in daily activities, and work toward goals in their plans. Documentation, safety practices, and coordination with families, guardians, community partners, and Workforce staff support consistent services.

What you'll do

• Provide one-on-one support to build interpersonal and life skills outlined in each person’s plan
• document activities and submit reports to Workforce staff
• report participant progress weekly to the Workforce Manager
• maintain relationships with families, guardians, and community partners
• follow safety requirements and complete incident reports
• help plan and implement daily activities
• provide personal care for some participants
• transport participants on outings using Goodwill vehicles.
