Team Lead, Community Engagement

Job overview

The Team Lead, Community Engagement role is onsite in Silver Spring, MD. Compensation is $56,650–$60,000 per year. SEEC provides community-based supports to help people with developmental disabilities live lives of their choosing; its Community Engagement services offer work, learning, and recreational opportunities. The Team Lead coordinates day-to-day person-centered support and guides staff toward individual outcomes and program goals. The role helps ensure that services promote independence, choice, and dignity while supporting staff and families in planning and delivering effective community-based services.

What you'll do

• Lead day-to-day person-centered support services
• promote person-centered practices with staff and families
• develop and revise personal profiles and PCP planning documents
• train and coach Community Engagement Coaches on goals and strategies
• ensure schedules meet the needs of people supported
• support staff and families with problem-solving
• ensure documentation and compliance with DDA and SEEC policies
• coordinate communication among staff, people supported, and the organization
• manage multiple projects and priorities.

Why this role
