Lead Maintenance Technician – Knoll Street Crossing

Job overview

The Lead Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Houston, TX, with compensation of $23 per hour. The position supports a property operated by Texas Inter-Faith Management, a nonprofit affiliated with an alliance focused on affordable housing and supportive services for families.

What you'll do

• Perform property maintenance and repairs in residential units, common areas, and building exteriors
• respond to resident service requests, aiming to respond within 24 hours
• troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, appliance, HVAC, drywall, painting, and carpentry issues
• prepare vacant apartments for new residents
• perform preventive maintenance and property inspections
• maintain grounds and common areas
• manage tools and supplies
• follow safety requirements
• assist with emergencies and participate in the required on-call rotation, including short-notice responses. Current HVAC certification is required
• the schedule is Monday–Friday, eight-hour shifts, with weekend availability and possible overtime.
