Cook — Healthcare Dietary Department

Job overview

The Cook role is onsite in the Billings metropolitan area, MT. Pay is $18–$20 per hour. The cook joins the dietary department at Aspen Meadows Health and Rehabilitation Center, where the dining program serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The cook prepares planned menus and assigned food items, maintains food quality and safe storage and preparation standards, and helps ensure meals are ready on time for tray service. This work supports the center's dining service and care environment.

What you'll do

• Prepare planned cycle menus and assigned food items
• read production orders on tray cards
• assess food quality and assist with cooking schedules
• ensure food is ready on time for tray service
• maintain food storage, preparation, and service standards
• check food supplies on order forms
• move carts to halls or kitchen
• maintain cleanliness and orderliness.
