The Governance Program Spring Intern role is hybrid in Washington, DC. The internship provides an $3,000 stipend, paid in two equal installments, and runs January 26 through April 1, 2027, for 18–20 hours per week. The Governance Program works to strengthen voting processes, build trust in government, and support bipartisan leadership. The intern supports the program’s project areas through research, legislative tracking, policy writing, event support, and administrative assistance for convenings. This work contributes to the program’s efforts to advance policy solutions, strengthen institutions, and foster bipartisan collaboration.

What you'll do

  • Assist with research for the three project areas
  • track relevant state and federal legislative activities
  • draft written materials on policy research
  • support event planning and execution
  • provide administrative support for internal and external convenings
  • take on additional responsibilities based on the candidate’s interests.
