Line Cook

The Line Cook role is onsite at Ruttger’s Bay Lake Resort in Deerwood, MN. Pay is $13.70–$15.76 per hour. The seasonal position is part of Odyssey Resorts’ Food and Beverage department and reports to the Executive Chef or Sous Chef. The cook prepares and presents food to resort standards, completing orders accurately and on time. The role supports consistent quality and guest service through careful food storage, sanitation, safety, and communication with resort staff and other departments.

What you'll do

• Prepare and present food items
• portion and prepare ingredients before cooking
• prepare menu items to order, plate, and garnish dishes
• follow recipes
• control waste
• label, rotate, and store products
• organize coolers and storage areas
• maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and kitchen
• complete cleaning duties
• follow safety practices and communicate with other departments.
