Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is an onsite position in Kingstree, SC. Compensation is not specified. This role supports the Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA). Assists providers with medical care to patients, responsible for taking vital signs, history, documenting in patient's chart, and preparing treatment rooms.

What you'll do

• Interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records or inputs information to patients' medical record.
• Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with one year of patient care experience preferred.
• Must be certified with current certification through American Medical Technologist (AMT), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Healthcare Association (NHA), National Association of Healthcare Professionals (NAHP), Medical Career Assessments (MedCA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) with American Heart Association (AHA) required.
